Dr. Gupta took the reins of GM2 in January 2018 as President and CEO. Building on the firm’s foundation of respect, quality and accountability, he will oversee the corporate structure and continual development for future growth. Since joining GM2 in 1994 as a Senior Engineer, his various roles have included Director of Engineering and Executive Vice President. Manish earned his PhD and MS degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Connecticut and holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

FAISAL AZIZ, PE

Faisal Aziz, PE, is GM2’s Director of Bridge Safety Inspection and Evaluation, and a Vice President of the firm. His technical expertise spans transportation structure serviceability assessments to program management through design. Within his role, he is in direct charge of the firm’s Bridge Safety Inspection program’s compliance to NBIS, including the load rating contracts, and diligently contributes to maintain a safe and efficient road network. He is also responsible for providing quality control/quality assurance for State DOT and municipal infrastructure projects. For GM2’s Rhode Island office, Faisal assists with the operations and provides technical leadership.

Jagdeesh “Jag” Gopal, PE, serves as GM2’s Director of Bridge Engineering and is a Vice President of the firm. He has been instrumental in the firm’s successful completion of many structural infrastructure ‘firsts’ on local, regional, and national levels; including the use of 100% prefabricated elements; first of a kind 2-span GRS-IBS structures and sheet pile abutments; and pioneering the use of innovative approaches, materials and designs throughout New England with numerous award winning projects. In his capacity, Jag is responsible for overseeing and growing GM2’s bridge structures group, where he leads the firm’s continuous technical advancement and pursuit of excellence in design.

Darren L. Blood, PE, is GM2’s Regional Director of Northern New England and an Executive Vice President of the firm. To this role, he brings tremendous depth of industry and regional knowledge. Darren is responsible for developing the firm’s Northern New England presence and ensuring GM2’s foundation and reputation are upheld.

Antonio L. Margiotta, PE, is GM2’s Regional Director of Southern New England and an Executive Vice President of the firm. With his diverse project and management expertise, Antonio is responsible for the advanced development and management of corporate standards and the continued growth of GM2 in the Southern New England Region.

Lewis S. Cannon, PS, serves as Director of Construction and is a Vice President of the firm. Having served a 30+ year career with the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Lew offers extraordinary insight to the management and contract administration of transportation construction projects. An industry advocate, he has served on the AASHTO Subcommittee on Construction, as a member of the NETTCP Board of Directors (2011-2015) and, specifically, as a member of the NETTCP Quality Assurance Technologist Certification Committee.

Frederick J. Vincent is GM2’s Director of Operations for Rhode Island. In this capacity, he is responsible for client and staff development, as well as management of GM2’s Rhode Island office location. Prior to joining GM2, Fred served as the Deputy Director of RIDOT, the State of Rhode Island Director of Policy, Deputy Chief of Staff in the office of the Governor, and Associate Director for Planning and Administrative Services for RIDEM.

Dean Bagdasarian, PE, is GM2’s Chief Engineer, and a Senior Vice President of the firm. His knowledge and expertise are founded on nearly 30 years of managing and engineering complex, multimillion dollar, high-profile DOT transportation projects. From this, he offers a unique blend of combined design and construction knowledge which ensures constructability while minimizing risk. Dean is adept in managing and/or serving as discipline lead for large multifaceted teams for traditional and alternative delivery projects. He is a strong team partner that practices effective leadership and guidance. In his capacity, Dean oversees the technical aspects of the firm’s work and quality control/quality assurance procedures. He has authored technical papers and has presented at various conferences including the International Bridge Conference.
