GM2 is a well-established, growing engineering firm with a strong backlog of work. The firm is transportation centric with an array of projects from a diverse client base. Projects include major highway reconstruction, PEL studies, intersection reconstruction, pavement rehabilitation, and complete streets.   

Highway Engineer:  Highway Engineers with 0-5 years of project experience; preferably with a combination of road- and highway design experience. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, performing calculations, preparing contract drawings and specifications, estimating costs and materials, shop drawing review, and construction administration. Exceptional entry level candidates will be considered. Ideal candidates are team players that are self-motivated, have strong written and oral communication skills, and have a desire to grow personally. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Working knowledge of standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam) as well as roadway and drainage design software including MicroStation and InRoads
• Experience in roadway projects for NHDOT, RIDOT, VTrans and/or MaineDOT, based upon office location, is desired.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or the ability to earn within two years.
• 0-5 Years of project experience.
