Position Overview:

GM2 Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager (Bridges) to lead and develop technical discipline teams for our Bridge projects. This full-time role offers an opportunity to apply advanced technical expertise, project management skills, and client relationship-building to manage and execute exciting and complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transportation engineering with a specialized focus on highway bridges, as well as a proven track record of successful project delivery and client development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and developing technical discipline teams and performing as a project manager or task leader on Bridge projects
• Client development, coordinating the project pursuits and proposal preparation
• Performing as a senior technical lead in the development of concepts, reports, and studies
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships that allow us to have a positive impact on the communities we serve and grow our people through work on exciting and challenging projects
• Develop value-added solutions to clients' needs and lead the successful pursuit of contracts for engineering and consulting services
• Increase the company's profile within the transportation industry through participation with appropriate business and professional organizations
• Planning, organizing, and supervising the relevant work of other transportation professionals
• Effectively negotiate, plan, monitor and deliver quality projects and consulting services
• Reviewing engineered designs and plans for conformance with applicable state, regional & local agency standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 10 years of focused experience in transportation engineering, with a specialized emphasis on highway bridges.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of FDOT regulations and local standards, including the FDOT Standard Specifications, Structures Manual, Bridge Load Rating Manual, and Design Standards.
• Project Management: Proven experience in managing all aspects of infrastructure projects, including planning, coordination, execution, and delivery.
• Design & Compliance: A solid understanding of codes,legal, and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and effectively.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams of engineers and professionals across multiple assignments and projects.
• Client Focus: Strong client relationship and management skills, with a history of building long-term partnerships.
• Education: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or higher.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Florida.
• Software Skills: Experience with software tools such as CSi Bridge, StaadPro, Leap Bridge, CONSPAN, RC-Pier, FB-MultiPier, MDX, and DESCUS.
