GM2 provided the construction inspection (superintendent) and engineering services for the two Front street buildings, the first being 39,000 sf and the second being 28,700 sf and the dividing new roadway, perimeter sidewalks, all curbing and drainage. Our site inspection effort included managing the removal of contaminated material, reuse of suitable material and bringing in new material to the site to minimize amounts of volumes of new fill. GM2 provided field oversight of the building concrete foundations, installation of the under-slab vapor barriers to prevent hazardous fumes from entering the building, all structural steel framing, metal stud wall framing, roofing, exterior insulation finish system, masonry firewalls, insulation and installation of windows and doors, and insulation and installation of skylights.
Overall GM2 was responsible for the core and shell of Block A and Block B buildings. In addition, GM2 was responsible for all Special Inspections during construction and peer review during design. The interior space will have multiple adjacent boutiques, restaurants, a movie theater with its own restaurant, and administrative office spaces for the various businesses.
