GM2 provided comprehensive engineering design services for the replacement design of this pedestrian bridge as part of the Spaulding Turnpike improvements. This complex structure consists of a 155FT long embankment wall and a three span (with cantilever end span) 140FT long non-redundant two girder pedestrian bridge structure on a flared (12FT at one end to 21FT at the other) reverse curved alignment supported on low profile post tensioned hammerhead pier caps on single drilled shafts.
