Client: Manchester-Boston Regional Airport
GM2 was contracted to provide an existing conditions survey for approximately 33 acres of airfield. Our field crew obtained the security credentials to work freely on the airfield with only an escort in order to minimize oversite and coordination needed from the MHT staff. The design required a detailed topographic survey that produced contours at the 0.2-foot interval on paved surfaces and 1 foot off of the pavement. All underground drainage was detailed and incorporated into the survey. Underground electric locations were compiled from record data and also incorporated into the survey. The field work was completed in winter conditions and the final delivery was made to the client within 30 days of notice to proceed.
